After visiting Mt. Fuji several times, we wanted something more casual and fun, so this time we visited:

📍Makaino Farm Resort/まかいの牧場

It’s a family-friendly spot, perfect for couples and group visits. The resort has everything from animal watching to feeding sheep, to making your own butter and wool.

We loved feeding the sheep the most. You can buy some treats at the vending machine and then enjoy being surrounded by a group of fluffy, cute sheep!

There are several swings and booths perfect for taking breathtaking photos with Mt. Fuji as the backdrop.

Tips: It’s hard to get 100 yen coins once you are inside, so prepare some additional 100 yen coins to buy animal treats. One treat is not enough!!
