The Tempozan Ferris Wheel in Osaka is a must-visit attraction offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Standing at 112.5 meters tall with a diameter of 100 meters, it was once the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it opened in 1997.

Located in the Tempozan Harbor Village, right next to the famous Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, the Ferris wheel offers a 15-minute ride with stunning views of Osaka Bay, Mount Ikoma, the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, Kansai International Airport, and the Rokko Mountains.

The wheel features 60 air-conditioned cabins, including a few with transparent floors for thrill-seekers. There are also barrier-free cabins to ensure accessibility for all visitors.

At night, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel becomes a glowing landmark, illuminated by over 100,000 LED lights. These lights also display the next day’s weather forecast: orange for sunny, green for cloudy, and blue for rainy.
