I stayed at a historic inn in Magome-juku, hiked from Magome to Tsumago on the Nakasendo Trail, and enjoyed some delicious local food along the way.

That was a wonderful thing to enjoy on a Sunday evening. All of the food looked incredible, the ancient style villages were a joy to look at and the nature along the hiking trail was stunning.
Beautiful ❤❤
Cheers from Brazil!
I always love your tours!
Thank you for sharing your journey!
Under 20 minutes
Coke money !!!
Very congested inn ..one can hardly spend more than one night.
that kitty look pregnant probably was looking for a place to give birth away for people
Loved this! ❤Looks like you had a great time & ate very well! I liked feeling like I’ve been on a hike without any of the work!😅
What a beautiful traditional inn , it had just enough modern touches to be comfortable without being in your face. The hike was breathtaking and beautiful . Thank you for sharing. Much love from the USA
Another great video! Thank you so much 💜
💖

Dear EJ – this was my favorite video! Absolutely enchanting to see the history, culture and beauty of Japan there. Thank you for sharing with the world❤
Thanks! Very interesting trail and history.
24:36 … my god Americans are so annoying. No one cares about your politics lol
Thank you so much for this video. It was so good to see a small slice of Japanese history being preserved and enjoyed. My country (New Zealand), has a short history of human habitation going back 500 or 600 years where as Japan's history goes back thousands of years. It is so important for successive generations to protect the history of a country because with todays modern ways and technology, history is so easily forgotten. Thank you for sharing this journey.
Those little towns were so charming. How long did it take the samurai to make the whole journey?
Fascinating. Thank you. 🙏
This is one place I really want to visit and do the hike. SO happy to see my home of New Zealand 50 Pax signed the book
I've really liked watching the videos over the last couple of years. I like seeing the plum blossoms, I really love plum wine.
Wow! Your video was incredible! These are my favorite, I love looking at the old towns of Japan, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful video ❤😊

7:15 she is most likely pregnant and scared ❤
Have you ever climbed Mount Fuji? If not, would you consider doing an episode on it? I really loved this episode—it was refreshing to watch. I love hiking.
Another great video, always very informative and relaxing 🥰 everything looks absolutely beautiful 😍💜
Wow, thank you for showing us this. It felt like history with every step you took. I hope to visit this trail one day 🙂
How did you get there and how did you get home? Thanks, wonderful video.
The spanish for "trail" is "senda", which is similar in writing and phonetics to sendo, and there's a famous Colombian female instagramer called Megumi, her father is Japanese, Magome-ju reminded me of her….
I thought you had to sleep on that mat, fortunately you had a decent mattress
Thank you for this beautiful video. The hike through the forest looks so relaxing and calming and the dinner at the Ryokan looks very tasty. It seems that this trail and small villages are very popular with western visitors ?
Beautiful video as always. I hear the edo period mentioned so much in Japan what made it so great?
beautiful
Americans… fibromyalgia… at least say it in Japanese
If there’s one thing Mr. Experience Japan is gonna do when he goes somewhere it’s eat delicious food. You should collect all the best places you’ve eaten at and make a guide. Adding this one to places I want to visit in Japan
