GAMBA OSAKA Youth (18 players and 6 staff members) has been on an overseas tour of the Netherlands since last night.
Here’s a report from our local youth staff!
U-17 Netherlands Tour Departure Date
The youth team, consisting of 18 members, mainly from the U-17 age group, will be touring the Netherlands from April 14th to 22nd as a training expedition.
We will fly from Kansai International Airport to Dubai International Airport and then to Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport.
During the trip to the Netherlands, the team will take part in the Future Cup hosted by AJAX and will play against AJAX and Paris Saint Germain.
Please take a look at the players’ enthusiasm before leaving for the Netherlands.
◆ Kubo Ryu
During this trip to the Netherlands, we will be playing against big overseas clubs such as Ajax and PSG, so I think the physical size, strength, and skills of the players will be different to those in Japan.
But I’m looking forward to seeing how well I can play, and I think GAMBA OSAKA Youth is a strong team.
I will try my best to play in a way that makes people think I’m good.
◆ Murata Kosuke
During this trip to the Netherlands, I would like to play against some fantastic opponents in a fantastic environment and experience the world’s best techniques and physical strengths.
I think I can experience a lot of Dutch culture outside of soccer that I can’t experience in my own country.
I would like to make the most of this opportunity, try different things, and do my best to come back having grown even a little.
