7 famous cherry blossom spots in Ina Valley, Nagano. Takato was amazing as expected!

Today, we visited some of the famous cherry blossom viewing spots in the Ina Valley in Nagano Prefecture.
We visited Takato Castle Ruins Park twice, once in the early morning and once when it was lit up at night.

The cherry blossoms of Takato are said to be the best in the country, and are ranked alongside Hirosaki Castle and Yoshino Mountain as one of Japan’s three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots.
I was reminded once again just how amazing the cherry blossoms of Takato are.
However, as we visited at the weekend, it was extremely crowded.

Personally, I thought that Okusa Castle Ruins Park was the best this time.
It wasn’t crowded, and you could see the Central Alps in the distance, and there were various cherry blossoms in full bloom.
