⚙Select 4K in the setting to watch the video.
Fukuoka is known as a home to many world-famous ramen restaurants.
Their headquarters are all here. While the overall quality of ramen in Fukuoka is arguably the best in the world, I’d like to explore five ramen shops that have even earned Michelin recognition.
From rich tonkotsu broths to springy noodles and savory toppings, I dived into the best of the best. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a culinary adventure, this video might help you to find your next Ramen favorites!
Thank you for watching.

Super nice, 2nd Passport! Great filming, poetic and relaxed. And two favorite subjects: food and Fukuoka. All the ramen places and dishes looked amazing. The Dandan noodles especially, with soup. We used to live behind the Ichiran HQs in Nakasu, Fukuoka for 10 years. But many more offers for ramen in the city, as your clip shows. I avoided yatais for ramen, maybe some are good, but I trusted more a genuine indoor restaurant where stuff can boil 24 h. With some research it is very interesting to see how both Chinese and Korean food and dishes have spread to Japan over the years, many over decades or centuries. I realize that when in Japan I think I eat 100% Japanese, but it is really north east Asian. Influences from Thailand, Indonesia etc are not that common though, too far south. Keep up the good work and courage! Arigato!
Thank you for such a wonderful upload. I loved the filming in this one. You showcased each dish beautifully. Kontotsu ramen is my all-time favorite, and this one looked delicious. I was just in Shinagawa last week and silly me did not partake of any ramen. 😢 Next time. I hope you're doing well and I look forward to your next video. Take care!!❤
