Japan Journals | part 6 | Otaru day trip, Hakodate sightseeing, sushi (ofc), and desserts!

For the second half of our Hokkaido trip, we visited Otaru and Hakodate! In Otaru, we spent the morning building our very own music boxes(!!) and decorating them with Otaru glass figurines. We had delicious seafood and tried an Otaru-local dessert spot: LeTAO, which was so good! After a looong but beautiful train ride, we arrived in Hakodate where we had more sushi (duh) and explored the area in the snow! We saw Goryokaku Tower and visited the fort before hopping on a bus and heading back to Tokyo!
