Kanazawa, the old Kaga Domain was once one of the prosperous domains in Japan. But to avoid the ire of those in power, Kaga chose to spend most of its money in Art. 🖼️🗾

Definitely visit Omicho market for some seafood, and admire one of the most beautiful castles in Japan—Kanazawa Castle, as well as one of the top three gardens of Japan—Kenrokuen. 🏯

Take the Thunderbird and Hokuriku Shinkansen towards Kanazawa station, everything is within walking distance. 😊

You can also stop by the Nagamachi district if you want to see some old samurai homes. Or/and Nishichaya district for some Edo period tea houses and shops!👍🏼
