Fresco at the Gardens returns to Rockford for the season

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Fresco at the Gardens returns, serving breakfast and lunch at Anderson Japanese Gardens.

Fresco at the Gardens is open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 318 Spring Creek Road. The menu offers a range of food options along with coffee, espresso, cappuccino and freshly squeezed juice.

“The one thing we can guarantee is that the view will always be there, regardless of the season, its always very nice, its very dynamic, so yeah. If you get a good seat up in the dining room, you can just overlook the garden,” said John Gleason, Chief Operating Officer of Anderson Japanese Gardens.

Anderson Japanese Gardens opens April 18, and admission is $13 for adults, $12 for ages 62 and up, $11 for students and military and free for kids under 5 years old.
