Transportation: The expo site is elegantly connected to Osaka’s transportation network. From JR Osaka Station, take the Osaka Loop Line to Bentencho Station, then transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line for Yumeshima (27 minutes, ¥550). A purpose-built 3.2km extension of the Chuo Line opened in January 2025 specifically for the expo.

From Kansai International Airport, allow 84 minutes via train (¥1,590) or consider a taxi (approximately ¥18,000, 41 minutes).

Beyond the Expo: Sophisticated travellers would be remiss not to explore beyond Yumeshima. Osaka Castle, the shopping arcades of Shinsaibashi, and the electric atmosphere of Dotonbori district reward cultural exploration. Day trips to Kyoto or Nara require less than an hour by train, offering complementary perspectives on Japanese heritage. An ICOCA card or Kansai Thru Pass ensures seamless regional transportation.
