This hidden gem has $1 meat every Tuesday #nycfood #nyceats #hotpot
This is one of the best hot pot deals in New York City!
Did you know every Tuesday you can get $1 meat at this Sichuan hotpot spot? The meat here is high-quality, very tender, and they even have cuts of Japanese and US wagyu (not for $1), and abalone so you can be fancy too (or treat your partner or parents) 🥘
We loved the hot pot broth – it had a lot of flavor because of the beef tallow. And their set menus are the perfect size for a date night out 👩❤️👨
Their non-hot pot menu items were also good! Their braised pig feet and pig tongue 🐖 were super tender and had good flavor, and their smashed lemon tea 🍋 is absolutely delicious and deserves to be a shop itself! The smashing really releases the lemon lime flavors and gives it extra texture along with the refreshing taste of the yellow tea 🫖
The interior is super modern and sleek, with very spacious tables. There’s coat check 🧥 so your coats won’t smell like hot pot. We also appreciated that the pots were recessed deep into the table to minimize splashing and ventilation was pretty good because our clothes and hair didn’t smell too much like hot pot after
Service was also great as the waiters were constantly refilling our hot pot broth and our plates were also constantly being changed for fresh ones 🍽️
This is one of our new favorite hot pot spots in New York City and we’ll definitely be back! 😋
