Can someone explain what it is she exactly is making? I know its not rice balls but is it using rice flour? I love learning about Japanese cuisine and why a lot of it is special in its own way. ❤
These historic shops all over Japan have no successors (or are refusing to pass them on due to the difficulties they face), and many are operating at a loss due to declining incomes caused by declining town populations, but they continue to operate as a part of daily life. If you have a chance to visit Japan, be sure to check out these shops.
