  2. I was amazed to see public transportation in Japan is as confusing and inconsistent as it is in the US. You have great patience for exploration. I would be careful eating the food out of vending machines!

  3. I get totally confused by the buses in Japan. I try to stick to trains which I mostly have figured out.
