4K Tokyo πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ : The City Of Luxury Architecture

In the forth episode of Japan Architectural Tour we invite you to explore two fashion neighbourhoods – Ginza and Omotesando. Ginza is considered one of the most elegant and
luxurious city districts in the world. Omotesando is known as one of the foremost ‘architectural
showcase’ streets in the world. Ginza is known not only for its elite fashion houses and art galleries, but for its renowned collection of contemporary structures. Many of the biggest names in Japanese and international architecture have built in Ginza. Known as one of the city’s most fashionable areas, Omotesando is a mecca for luxury shopping, gorgeous architecture, and trendy cafes and restaurants.
We will see buildings designed by Renzo Piano, Kengo Kuma, Toyo Ito and many others. We will also visit the Ginza Six’ rooftop with beautiful views of Tokyo skyline.

  1. Great architectural tour! I love the elegant architecture of Ginza and Omotesando. My favorite buildings are the Prada flagship designed by Herzog & de Meuron and the Tokyu Plaza Ginza shopping center, which also has spectacular views from its rooftop. I would have also included Tokyu Plaza Omotesando with its amazing lobby.
I'm looking forward to your next tour of the Tokyo International Forum, another of my favorite buildings in Tokyo.
    Greetings from Spain!!

  2. Omotesando and especially its backstreets (Urahara and Cat Street) are my favorite area of Tokyo, so many interesting architecture and interior, unlike those monstrosity created by the mega redevelopments going on in Tokyo, these small and backstreets have so much charm and characters.

  3. tokyo color tone is not comfortable as seoul,if you see seoul, they split color tone in each area, for instance, buildings are all similar color including windows and other components, they rarely use big contrast color in one area, but if you see Tokyo ,color is not arranged good.japanese should study hard about color
