SECRET Hidden Gem Shrine in Togakushi, Nagano, Japan – Winter

MORE JAPAN TRAVEL VIDEOS ON THE WAY! Sub 🙂

Rented some snowshoes to visit the famous giant cedar trees at Togakushi Shrine in Nagano, but really to find this off the beaten path, small shrine and pond just off the main trail.

Tenmei Inari Shrine, like a super mini version of Kyoto’s famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, and a beautiful man-made pond called Kagami Ike Pond. Such a surreal experience and I feel so blessed to have been able to experience it all to myself in the winter. There was almost nobody around and the setting was just incredible beautiful. It’s an extremely peaceful and serene place that is now very special to me! Might be crowded in the summer though!

Always an amazing time when I get to escape the crowds and get out into nature. Doesn’t always have to be a crazy, hardcore hike to find a slice of paradise. Hope you enjoy the video 🙂 Thanks for reading and watching!!!!

Do let me know if you decide to come here too, would love to hear your thoughts!
