Tokyo You’ve Never Explored – Nakameguro, Meguro, Gotanda
Where I visited in this video: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=166ze_LDKF9blW1lO1fyanEURkhpiTVA&usp=sharing
Take a quiet walk through three neighborhoods in Tokyo—Nakameguro, Meguro, and Gotanda.
There aren’t any major sight seeing spots here, but you find something charming in the neiborhoods and you see the quiet streets that Tokyo people live.
Tokyo’s 3 Neighborhoods:
1. Nakameguro – Meguro – Gotanda
Sorry I didn’t think I would wear the coat again so I have lots of my pug’s hair on my coat…

I like seeing lesser known neighborhoods! Please do more of these!!
❤️🤍☕️🇩🇪
Meguro Temple was so beautiful! Arigato for this Tokyo walk!🪭🌸🌺🏝
Thank you for sharing. I have been to your suggested places a few times and there is always something new to explore. As one of a growing number of repeat visitors to Japan, vlogs on much lesser known cities that are accessible by train would interest us. Might I suggest, you show us the area around your choice of train stations that you think might interest us. For instance, I often go by train stations such as Kanda where many passengers alight and board. From the train, I can see neon signs, billboards, packed buildings, and I often wonder, “What is there? I wonder if it’s worth a visit?” Perhaps, It could be a “train hopping” video along one of Tokyo many train lines….(that would provide endless months of content😅). Thank you again for sharing.
Once again you have gift us with a very interesting option on what to see in Japan. Your content is original and very much appreciated. Thank you.
What a wonderful video, thank you very much Kengo. I like Naka-Meguro a lot, for the vintage shops, the cafes, the restaurants and of course for the beautiful sakura flowers along the river. When we were in Tokyo just a week ago, we had lunch at "Schmatz", just because we both love the name of this restaurant (which is something like "very tasty" in German). I also like the name of the first restaurant you mention. Coeur is hearth in French.
I always absolutely love your videos. So calm and chilled
Thank you so very much for this video spotlighting these other areas. I’m saving this video in my Japan planning queue, for my next trip.
like how you show a map
Is this how life in Tokyo really looks like, you spend your time trying to get into a coffee shop?!
i love your videos=) I plan to move to japan in Jan 2026
This video was so relaxing! I loved learn about the different cities and seeing you walk around !!
Wonderful video 🌸☺️🌸
Love this video. This is exactly the type of video I was hoping for it will be our 3rd time coming next month and we just want to wander around and enjoy Tokyo. Thank you.
Truly appreciate the information you share about Japan, thank you 😊
Gotanda is a great place to stay in Tokyo (booked a hotel there on my last trip and it was so convenient with great restaurants).
Adding Meguro to my list to visit next time and if you've never been, I recommend a visit to Futako Tamagawa (beautiful shopping street, the book store is amazing! And also wonderfully beautiful park grounds to walk around there also) 😊
I enjoy this very much. I remember my lovely time in Nakameguro and Meguro.
Great series Kengo san!
Go off the beaten track and you'll get to see more of Japan without the crowd.
Another great video Kengo san. I will save this for my next trip. Thank you.
