OSAKA — The annex of the Osaka Prefectural Government office has been vandalized with English letters reportedly condemning Israel spray-painted on a wall.
At around 8:30 a.m. on March 30, a prefectural government employee found the damage on the building in Osaka’s Chuo Ward. According to Osaka Prefectural Police’s Higashi Police Station and other sources, the letters covered an area approximately 1 meter high and 2.2 meters wide on the outer wall. It was apparently written in English using what appeared to be black and red spray paint, criticizing Israel’s invasion of Gaza and its participation at the World Exposition in Osaka.
