  1. Your editing and camera work are really hitting the mark and have improved so much. I'm hoping to travel to Japan in the next year and find this new series fascinating.

  2. β€œThere’s a bear in there and a chair as well. There are people with games and stories to tell.” Adventures of Terry and the K van Japan 2025.

  3. Lovely presentation Tez, you've captured the essence of Japan outside the roaring cities. It is indeed a really nice place with so many lovely people, and those monkeys are far more respectful than some folks I know here in Australia.
    Thanks for the ride mate.

  4. The thought of driving in Japan terrifies this 60 year old. Having visited Japan numerous times in the past, I have always travelled by the Train or bus network. You have inspired me to do a similar road trip one day. Many Thanks!

  5. Thank you, it was amazing! I wonder what happened 800-1000 years ago- what was there before the cedar trees were planted? And the sole survivor camphor tree? What a story it could tell. The temples also have a spire, in common with western churches- many theories exist about spires…
Wow, are you gathering some wonderful memories! Even with a drink tasting like dirt😁 but at least you gave it a go😊

  6. I get it now. You are not doing the usual tourist stuff in Japan, You must have done a lot of research for this trip. Very impressed with your itinerary Terry. Quite a spiritual place.

  7. You are very relaxed and confident traveller Terry for the first timer in Japan. Do not miss Kyoto.

  9. Beautiful and stunning every step of the way. Felt so calm watching. I'm really keen to explore by road to see these amazing areas now after this. Such a cool van and you are never without food, vending machines and toilets which are always handy.

  10. That was wonderful, when I was there I was working for Diamaru the department store, it was all very formal, had to wear a suit at all times and only allowed to go to places that they allowed me to. You are seeing the places I really wanted too, maybe one day.

  11. Terry this was spectacular ! Relaxing and so beautiful . I loved the serenity of the temples and country side. You are so lucky to be able to travel like this. Where next? Can’t wait to see Suzy

  12. Imagine if back home we still had old growth trees and only selected timber felling, but I suppose that is nothing but a pipe dream.
