Kagoshima Day 2 : Incredible Japanese Garden with an Active Volcano
Day 2 in Kagoshima takes me to one of the most iconic and beautiful spots in the city — Senganen Garden! This historic Japanese garden is filled with stunning landscapes, traditional architecture, and one of the best views of Sakurajima, Kagoshima’s active volcano. Walking through this peaceful, breathtaking place felt like stepping back in time, with perfectly manicured gardens and a serene atmosphere.
For lunch I had a dish called Keihan, which is rice with various ingredients eaten with chicken stock. It’s unique and can be found only in this area of Japan. Join me as I explore this must-visit spot and take in the incredible scenery of Kagoshima!

Only half done but I want to say don't worry even if there's a huge eruption from Sakurajima. Regular eruptions aren't dangerous. If the winds aren't going towards you there is no worry about ash. If it were becoming dangerously active they'd know about it well before.
Yoshihiro shimazu used the cats as a clock 😂
What a beautiful video, spectacular views! Thank you🤩
Thank you for taking us around on your walks. I really love these kinds of videos!! Can't wait for the next one!
I hope you got to see the volcano exploding at night. That canon foundary looked cool, really old. I wonder what they used to make in that oldest factory?
What a fabulous video full of the beautiful sites and amazing views. I'm really enjoying your walking videos, thank you! ❤
HENLO from the United States.. I love watching this video and the beautiful gardens. It looks so peaceful when you can walk around without crowds of people everywhere. Love all your food videos. Hope to see more soon..
Lovely video, and what a beautiful garden Senganen Garden is! I just had a look around via Google Maps and it looks very interesting.
Nice tour and lovely gardens. Love the cut glassware. Lunch looked good, like the way the rice soup is done. Hi from Oregon.
Great video, thanks for sharing! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have byybitt with money, and I also i have the words: letter accident end laptop blade fluid mansion sniff arch shrimp swift recycle. Could you kindly guide me on the easiest way to deposit them to binnance ?

The lunch was laid out so beautifully, but having the volcano in the backdrop made the whole picture so amazing to look at.

Beautiful views the blossoming flowers thanks for sharing 😘😘❤️🥰🤩😍🌹🌈🙏💯
Too bad you didn't go into the Kiriko glass factory. You can see everything from blowing the glass to cutting and etching it to the sales room. It's pretty cool to look at and only ten meters from Starbucks. A definite must stop in for a look-see if you are there… even for a few minutes.
Thankyou I enjoyed it
Thank you for taking us with you on such a lovely day, Shinichi! Senganen Garden was gorgeous, serene, and a bit magical with its unexpected tropical "jungle" area and its magnificent views of Sakurajima! I was reading about the garden, and it was mentioned that the sakura are the Kanhizakura variety which are early opening and bloom as early as January. Interesting! The Keihan for lunch looked delicious. I often make soups like that, with rice, herbs, and vegetables covered with a hot vegetarian stock. So tasty, filling, and warm! I'm definitely looking forward to your Sakurajima video. 💜
I love watching you guys! I found it so relaxing. I can't walk anymore, and the joy to go with you was breathtaking. Thank you. ❤
