The lineup for the third wave of artists set to perform at the Music Lane Festival Okinawa 2025 / Trans Asia Music Meeting 2025 has been revealed, featuring 11 additional acts from Okinawa, across Japan, and overseas.

To date, the festival has already announced 11 artists from Okinawa, including Mutsumi Aragaki, ulma sound junction, and Orumaken Akane; 17 domestic acts such as Ai Kakihara, illiomote, Kingo (with The Vibrations), and Suzume no Tears; and 20 international artists, including 艾密璃AMILI & Quanzo (Taiwan), FOLK9 (Thailand), NdaChi (Cameroon), and Vincent Eco (Philippines).

In the latest announcement, three Okinawan artists have been added to the lineup: akira.drums, HOME, and TOSH. Joining from outside Okinawa are HALLEY, Sarasa, and TURTLE ISLAND. Representing the global scene are Chih-Chih, Chih-Yin Kuo (Taiwan), Littlefingers (Indonesia), 淺堤shallow levee (Taiwan), SU SAN (Malaysia), and Tickle Tickle癢癢 (Taiwan).

The festival has also secured TuneCore Japan, a prominent music distribution service, as a sponsor for the showcase stage, reinforcing its mission to support independent artists in reaching international audiences.

Set to take place in Okinawa City, locally referred to as Koza, the festival will adopt a circuit format, with Music Town Oto-Ichiba as its central hub and various nearby live houses serving as additional venues. It will welcome industry professionals, known as Delegates, from Asia and beyond to connect with performing artists, fostering opportunities for collaboration and exposure.

In recent years, the Music Lane Festival Okinawa has gained recognition for serving as a springboard for Japanese artists to perform at global music festivals, further highlighting its role as a key platform for international exchange and musical discovery.
