2 spring days in sapporo, hokkaido vlog – cherry blossoms, ghibli house, digital art aquarium

I took a flight from Tokyo to Sapporo, the capital of Japan’s northernmost main island, Hokkaido. I arrived perfectly on time to experience sakura season with cherry blossoms in full bloom in the parks and all over the city. I visited a street food market, parks and Lawson, as well as Sapporo’s central area of Susukino where I tried katsu curry and rolled some gachapon! I also checked out some of Sapporo’s tourist attractions such as a digital art aquarium and a very Ghibili-esque historical building.

If you’re looking for an itinerary for your Japan trip, or what to do in Sapporo in April and May, I hope this can give you some tips.
