The brilliant pianist Ryo Gojoin held the final performance of his second nationwide live sound concert tour, “Raw Fabulous Sound 3-16 -the final performance-,” at the Sapporo Education and Culture Hall on Sunday, March 2th.
The tour began in May of last year, and the band toured all over Japan in a classical style with a focus on live sound. This was their third performance in Sapporo, and they also performed in Hakodate and Asahikawa during the tour, making a total of five performances in Hokkaido in just four years since their debut, proving their popularity.

The venue was packed with fans of all ages, from young children to classical music lovers.
Gojoin appeared in a chic black pants style and gave a quiet bow, and the hall was instantly filled with silence.
The performance began with their original song “FLASH.” The breathtaking speed and dynamic performance instantly captivated the audience.
Following this, he demonstrated his overwhelming technique and delicate expressiveness in Frédéric Chopin’s “Fantaisie-Impromptu” and Franz Liszt’s “La Campanella.”
This has further raised expectations for the classical album currently in production.

For the encore, they performed “TSUGARU,” a song themed around their hometown of Aomori.
In addition, they made a surprise performance of Yumi Matsutoya’s famous song “Haru yo, Koi,” which had not been scheduled, filling the venue with a warm atmosphere that suggested the arrival of spring.
The last piece played was Claude Debussy’s famous “Clair de lune” (Light of the Moon).
Elegant and fantastical melodies rang out, fully demonstrating Gojoin’s diverse musical expression.
When the performance ended, the audience erupted in endless applause and cheers, making for an emotional finale.
What also caught our eye during the performance was the heartwarming support from young children.
After the performance, Gojoin said his usual “Good night,” revealing his true, cute side, filling the venue with a warm atmosphere.
