On sunny days, beautiful rainbows will welcome you at Shiraito Falls in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture. Named for its ‘thousands of white silk threads’ like splendor, the 20m (66ft) tall and 200m (656ft) wide waterfall boasts its crystal-clear water which is lava-filtered spring water from Mt. Fuji.
