Kagoshima Day 1 Night Walk, Abandoned House & a TERRIFYING Encounter!
This is the first episode of my Kagoshima vlog series, and my day takes some unexpected turns. I start by exploring the city, enjoying a peaceful riverside view at night and walking through charming old shopping streets. But things take a scary twist for me and I absolutely freak out!

I like these types of videos too
I love seeing the different cities through your walks! It's fascinating to me to see a place I may never get to visit. Thank you.😊
Aloha Shinichi! Great video. We spent. Couple days in Kagoshima back in 2013 and would love to go back. Don’t worry about getting creeped out, I get like that too in certain places. Looking forward to you visit to Sakurajima.
It's really fascinating to watch your walking videos. Feel like I'm on a walk with a friend
Thanks for another great video, I’m glad to see you adventuring again.
Be careful 😘❤️🥰🥰🤩😍🌈💯🙏
i love these videos! ❤ the dark is scary anywhere 😅 take care!
I love walking around with you to new destinations!
Yes, I enjoy your random walking videos. It’s ok to turn back and do another route…I’ve done that a few times myself. Always trust those goosebumps!
i like your walking videos the walk by the river was so peaceful i cant do it here at night too much crime n lots of homeless people. that scary road was giving me the creeps too. i would get lost youve got a good sense of direction.
I absolutely love these videos! It's now why i subscribe! I cannot travel so i get to explore through your videos. Always trust your instincts! Not going into a dark, unknown, suspicious place in an unfamiliar city is very wise, not cowardly at all. Be safe. Thank you for all your hard work! Stay healthy. I look forward to more videos!
Thank you for taking us on a nighttime walk. It was very interesting. I love nighttime walks where I live as well, because everything looks differently at night and I kind of like the 'spookiness' of the night. 👻 So, thank you for the thrill and have a nice time in beautiful city Kagoshima! I can't wait for the daytime video! 🤗
Fun and tiring walk. I used to do that when I was younger, traveled more, and walked a lot. But you are braver than me. I walked the main street of Waikiki Hawaii. So many open stores and people everywhere so I felt safe all alone. Same in London. I walked from a theatre after seeing a play to my hotel late at night. It was busy with people and cars, so I felt safe there too. Only time I was spooked was in Atlanta Georgia USA late at night. I got lost and walked the sidewalks where men was standing, just standing and I ha dto go past them. No one bothered me, thank goodness, and eventually I found the backside of my hotel. I had been on the wrong street. I watched your video wondering if you would be able to find your hotel alright. You did!
That was a fantastic view of Mt Fuji 🏔️
It was nice to explore a new spot!
I love your random wander around videos. ❤😂 That scary alley street looked interesting but yeah, a little sketchy.
I like these videos. It is like exploring for me where i can't go easily lol. Japan is far away from Canada. Love seeing the foods too. That river is nice at night. I bet the bolcano would be cool to see at night, specifically if it is erupting .
Strange city, strange street, strange house….I would be scared too. Glad you made it back to your hotel. Hey, next time you are in Hawaii, did you know there are 2 Lawson's? Nothing like Japan's, but interesting to know.
thanks for your time and these videos. I’m watching you walking through this Shoten-Gai, and I miss Japan. Shopping areas are so very clean. No “Gomi!”
I think I should do late night walks next time I go to Japan. They seem nice and any scary bits actually make them more intriguing to me lol.
Hi brother! I love your walking videos so much! I was laughing, not at you, but at the thought of, had I been with you, we would’ve been running and screaming out of that scary area. 😂 Thank you for sharing your solo trip with us. I cannot wait for your next vlog to the gardens. Sending you and brother Satoshi so much love and many blessings.
I love these videos! 😊🙌🏼💯🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Enjoying this!
I love your “walk with me” videos. It’s like you’re taking us on a tour. 😊
Yip. Love the walking vids. And yeah, that was a bad looking spot.
Yes…I love videos like this!!
Wow that view of Mount Fuji!!
I really like your exploring videos, even if they have scary tunnels 😅
These semi scary night walks are the best. 😂
I think the restaurant you walked past, "Meat Bank", was a Korean BBQ. In Singapore, there's a Korean BBQ near my place with that exact same frog (I think it's a Soju mascot)!
But thank you for another awesome video, Shinichi. You have a very honest style of travel vlogging, which makes your videos seem comforting and trustworthy. Your travel vlogs are a joy to watch. It felt like going on an adventure, as you walked around and explored.
P.S. This is complete superstition, but if you ever feel uneasy or spooked, walking across a river like you did can help! The reason: Ghouls can't cross running water! It's a little silly, I know, but I once met someone in Singapore who swears they broke a curse by walking across a river.
love this type of video
I enjoyed watching your walk, especially since I just got back from 2 weeks in Osaka/Tokyo.
I love night walks. Did it a lot my last trip. Well, night walks, evening walks, day walks, morning walks haha

I enjoyed your quick exploration adventure! I just got worried when there weren't that many people walking around- seemed a little dangerous. I kind of like horror stuffs lol. But I wouldn't have walked down that scary street anyways .
Hope to see more walking adventures 🙏🏻🤙🏽
I really liked this video, its was very chilled and informative as a reference to that area for people that might be curious about Kagoshima. Also, you're not alone! Id be scared too walking around a scary looking place like that, it looked like a horror movie set! You're brave , I would've turned around lol
I love walking videos! Do these again ❤
I’m a fan of you and all your videos Shinichi.
I find your videos interesting and relaxing and I find you cute hilarious and adorable
🫶🤣🥰
I enjoy listening while I draw. Lets me pretend I'm back in Japan 😅
Hi Shinishi, I love your ramdom walikg videos! Even I got spooked by that empty alley😮trust your gut feeling, some places have bad energy!
We are following your footsteps in December catching ,Ferry from Osaka to Kagoshima. Staying in Kagoshima for not sure how long. Any tips would be great. When in doubt don't do it. Thanks for the walk. Gidday from Downunder
I love watching these walking tours of the hidden places I wouldn't otherwise see in Japan. It's so interesting to see what it's like outside the tourist areas. Please share more videos like this!
It's not boring. I love these peaceful walks. And yes, that was scary. It's a good idea to turn back
Don't be silly.
Random walking videos are great! Despite your fear, you seemed so calm. Looking forward to your next walk.
