If you thought MLB Tokyo Series content was over, you’re in for a treat.

A video shared by MLB Monday revealed that while in Tokyo, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Justin Turner surprised two lucky fans – who happened to be in the middle of their wedding photoshoot!

Turner asked the couple if the Cubs duo could join in on the photoshoot and they happily obliged.

The couple then revealed that they were honeymooning in the United States.

“We got to get them Cubs tickets!,” Crow-Armstrong said.

Turner asked the couple if they wanted to come to a Cubs game over their honeymoon, and the lucky bride tearfully accepted the offer.

“I almost cried! Thank you very much!” she said.

Japan’s passion for baseball no matter the occasion was overwhelmingly clear during the 2025 MLB Tokyo Series, and Crow-Armstrong and Turner are two Cubs who very much embraced that passion and culture over the course of the trip.

At age 40 and in his 19th MLB season, Turner has taken the young Crow-Armstrong, 22, under his wing for what the Cubs hope will be a successful year for both.

Wedding photoshoot crashing wasn’t the only thing the two got up to together in Tokyo – from sightseeing to arcade trips, they made the absolute most of their week.

Stay tuned for a potential reunion between Crow-Armstrong, Turner and the newlyweds – we’re all hoping it comes to fruition!
