Must-Eat Snack in Kagoshima Japan

You haven’t really had Satsumaage until you’ve tried it in Kagoshima! 🐟🔥 This deep-fried fish cake is a local specialty, and Satsumaya @satsumaya_iduro is one of the best places to experience it. These fish cakes are crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside—perfect as a snack or side dish. But the real showstopper? Their Satsumaage rice burgers! 🍔🍙 This is the only place in Japan where you can try them, and they’re absolutely delicious! Satsumaage can be found all over the country, but trust me—it’s on a whole other level in Kagoshima. If you’re in town, don’t miss out on this unique and flavorful experience!

I love Kagoshima so much… I spent many New Year’s Eve‘s in Kagoshima city there was one famous Soba noodle shop that was amazing, and the Ramen was delicious. Plus they had some of the sweetest miniature bars in the old section. I love that city.
