RETRO TOKYO MARKET: Most Traditional Japanese Street Food in Sunamachi Ginza Dori ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

Prepare to step back in time at one of Tokyo’s LAST STANDING traditional markets. Sunamachi Ginza Dori is a shopping street stuck in the 1950s. Here, you can get amazing Japanese street food from mom-and-pop shops, incredible old-school shopping, and a vibe that you cannot get anywhere else in Japan’s mega-cities. The vibe here is nostalgic, retro, vintage.

If you want the real deal Tokyo, this is where you will find it.

We also visit Kiyosumi Gardens to finish eating everything we found in the street food market to end our day of eating through Tokyo.

Hope you enjoyed coming along with Leah and I on our unexpected trip to Japan in 2025. Thanks so much for watching and stay tuned for the rest of the Japan series โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

  1. Love exploring the quieter neighbourhoods of Japan โ€ฆ. I find Shibuya crossing too chaotic these days cos I am older now ๐Ÿ˜†

  2. Iโ€™m loving the videos and having you back on YouTube sharing your experiences with us.
Iโ€™m gonna address the elephant in the room and just sayโ€ฆ I donโ€™t watch Luke anymore because itโ€™s just not the same and doesnโ€™t appeal to me anymore. I didnโ€™t even realize that it was you that kept me watching until you were gone.
Soโ€ฆ I hope youโ€™re doing well, you certainly look fantastic! And I donโ€™t think Iโ€™m the only one whoโ€™s happy to see you posting again. ๐Ÿ˜Šโค
