⁴ᴷ Fukuoka: Nishitetsu Kurume Station (福岡県: 西鉄久留米駅) – Japan Walking Tour (February, 2025)
Since it’s getting cold and I’m determined to cover filming locations in every prefecture, I’m heading to Kyushu—the only region remaining. I took a ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Koji Port in Kitakyushu, then toured Kyushu in a clockwise direction.
At first, I went to JR Kurume Station, but it didn’t quite match the image I had in mind, so I moved to Nishitetsu Kurume Station instead. Although JR Kurume Station serves the Shinkansen, Nishitetsu Kurume Station is closer to the downtown area and has a higher number of passengers.
As the third-largest city in Fukuoka Prefecture and the largest city in the Chikushi Plain, Kurume has a lively station area with a long and impressive shopping street.

初めまして私は、仕事で九州の八女市には、行った事が有ります。夜中、の移動だったので、大変でした、松山から八女市まで、休む間もなく朝から仕事でした、
昔はもっと賑やかで活気があったんだけどなー
筑後地方の人達はみんな久留米で飲んでた
一応久留米は福岡県では福岡市、北九州市に次ぐ都市なんだけどかつてのような賑わいはないですね。今の福岡県は福岡市の独り勝ち状態です、なので福岡市都市圏の筑紫野、春日、大宰府当たりの方がまだ賑わってますね。
