  1. Great video! I love breakfast food, sometimes for lunch or dinner, I know weird lol…Maybe you should do a pancake comparison, which one is the best! (if you like pancakes though 🙂

  2. Just came back from Vietnam a few days ago. YES, Bo Ne was on the menu everywhere! Although, I didn't see any with as much gravy as yours had! Also, the baguettes were not quite as torpedo shaped as those in Hawaii. They were still oval, but a bit more round, and well toasted. Anyway, if you love coffee, Vietnam is the place to be!

  3. Alpha Misty: Happy Aloha Friday to you and the ohana! 🤙🏼. Your breakfast theme for this vlog was a delight to view. I enjoyed each segment showcasing the different food available. The “local-style” breakfast got me missing home this evening, and I can imagine the deliciousness of that breakfast — like you said: “a touch of shoyu and ketchup will be make it great.” Keep-up the vlogging. Looking forward to next week! Much 🧧to you and Aiden! 🐯-spirit!

  4. 🙂 NREAKFST ANY TIME ! : ) THANKS MUCH for sharing ! Love the 1st one at the Vietnamese place, and will ahve tore-watch for the name of the dish 🙂 ALL the BEST and ENJOY your weekend : ) Cheers ! ! !

  5. The only time I ever eat breaky is when I'm in Hawaii. I love Harry's Cafe. Super nice people that run it and the food is winnas!! Also the Portuguese sausage that Foodland makes in the meat dept is really good too!! You just have to cook it yourself!! Thanks for the tips. The Fujiyama Texas looked really good!!
    Mahalo Misty!!

  6. Chicken Odobo fried rice sounds super good. Makes me miss breakfast I used to eat that (now ex) my wife would cook. Indonesian fried rice, some times with bakso in it. Then the rice porridge with shredded Indonesian fried chicken, green onion, pickled radish and Chinese cruller. Fujiyama Texas with Udon? Sounds great, My Japanese gal pal laughs as Udon is my go to when we go out. lol. Thanks Misty, I am now going to bed hungry! hahaha.

  7. Hi Misty,

I’m Kevin, the one who served you at Pho K&A!

Thank you so much for visiting my family’s restaurant—we’re beyond happy that you enjoyed everything! My mom is absolutely overjoyed and loves the video. It means the world to us that you featured us on your channel.

We truly appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon! ❤

  8. Howdy Misty !
I'm here for a couple of days
    (without a car😒😒)
    before our cruise on Saturday.

All five places are my kind of go-to's.
I'll definitely a few next time.

    I also liked you showed a couple of menu's (price$) 😎😎

  9. You forgot to mention that Queens BBQ also serve lunch dishes during breakfast. I usually get their fried chicken. How can you go wrong with fried chicken in the morning?

  10. So jealous. That was a lot of delicious breakfasts! I had podagee sausage, egg, and rice this morning. Not very good and expensive. Thanks for the great recommendations.

  11. At The Original Pancake House, you gotta try the Forty Niner. I usually get just one piece. It’s kinda like a crepe. I have it with butter and syrup. I enjoy your videos 🤙🏼🙏🏼❤️

  12. At the original pancake house, my go to is the 49er pancakes. Love those. That dutch baby is a treat as well.

  13. I left HI 15 years ago. I loved the Japanese breakfast at Flamingos. Also miss Portuguese sausage—not available here.

  14. Yo, that was a great tour of Vietnamese breakfast, Filipino breakfast, Japanese breakfast, local breakfast and mainland breakfast! I was hoping Fujiyama Texas would be in there cuz I saw the sign for breakfast and wondered how it was. Thanks as always, Misty.

  15. Quality of food is so low at most restaurants here you either broke da wallet or have to buy good ingredients and prepare it yourself
Those pale yellow eggs vs real pasture raised eggs nice orange yolks
Go to 49 at least their steak is from BI grass fed eggs local but I am not sure if it’s best local egg options
Definitely with you on runny yolks 😍

  16. Vietnamese breakfast looks bomb. I haven't been to Thelma's forever, 20+ years. One of our salesman buys us New Queens breakfast once in a while. Love it. And now im hungry, as i usually am after watching your videos, plus its early morning so breakfast really sounds great. Haha

  17. All breakfasts! My favorite meal of the day. Love the variety you showcased. Thanks for taking the extra time and effort to pull this together.

  18. Thank you for sharing all the different cultures of Hawaii Breakfast's, I myself enjoy New Queens Barbecue, I myself try to upgrade to fried rice & scoop Mac Salad…lol

  19. I know you did K&K Kitchen in Kalihi a couple of years back. That's the place which my brother-in-law always goes to for his breakfast.
I need to try New Queen BBQ, that looked great…although where di you have to go to eat it? It looked like a parking garage or Ala Moana.
