I visited the Nebuta Festival, one of Japan’s most famous summer festivals, held in Aomori!
The Aomori Nebuta Festival, held every August in Aomori City, is among Japan’s largest and most vibrant festivals. Huge, brilliantly illuminated lantern floats called “Nebuta” parade through the streets, accompanied by the energetic sounds of drums, flutes, and enthusiastic shouts, creating an unforgettable summer night atmosphere.
