Planning a trip to Japan? Follow along with our itinerary as we spend our last day in Osaka! J Today we say goodbye to Osaka with a special visit to Izakaya Toyo, famous for its blowtorched tuna cheeks. This stop is extra meaningful since I worked on the Netflix show – ‘Street Food: Asia’, where Toyo-san was featured!

Next, we leave the city behind and journey to Houshi Ryokan in Komatsu, one of the oldest hotels in Japan and possibly the world. This traditional Japanese inn offers an unforgettable stay with tatami rooms, onsen baths, and delicious kaiseki dining. Our huge ryokan feast leaves us so full, we have to explore the quiet streets of Komatsu—long after dark.
