Snow in Tokyo is a rare sight, happening maybe once a year—if at all. This time, I took a walk through the streets of Shibuya to capture this special moment. At first, it was just rain, then it slowly turned into sleet. As the video progresses, you’ll see the transformation into real snowfall, creating a beautiful winter scene in the heart of Tokyo. Unfortunately, by the end, the snow turned back into sleet, but I hope you enjoy this fleeting glimpse of Tokyo covered in snow. Let’s take a walk and experience this rare winter day together!

Not a cozy walk for sure. Hope your feet stayed dry and warm during the walk. 23:14 have you been to this (immersive) Hokusai exhibit? This view, 38:32, reminds me of "Blade Runner" movie. But Tokyo at night in the entertainment district and rain (or snow) provide visuals for many movies. 39:18 I checked, everyone still working! (just kidding). And Hachiko, was there some anniversary? He wore a white sash. Visitors just love to have pictures taken with him, even at night and in the rain. Stay warm, thanx.

I saved my money for years so I could have a once in a lifetime visit to Tokyo. Sadly, when covid came, I was left with a very reduced breathing and cannot climb stairs or walk up hills, so these videos show me what I might have seen…..
