Day 2 : Day trip to Fujinomiya
It took about 1.5 hours from Shizuoka Staiont to reach Fujinomiya Station.
Shiraito & Otodome Falls
Round trip bus ticket to Shiraito Falls cost ￥1300. Besides Shiraito Falls, there was another waterfall called the Otodome falls.
Yakisoba
After making our way back to the city by bus, we tried Squid and Pork Yakisoba (￥700).
Fujinomiya Sengen Shrine
Opposite was the Fujinomiya Sengen Shrine. It was a cloudy day so only the tip of Mount Fuji could be seen. Located in the shrine was the Wakutama-ike (Gushing jewels pond). The pond was formed by the melted snow and rain that fell on Mount Fuji.
After that we had a meal at the nearby AEON mall, befor emaking our way back to Shizuoka City.
Day 3: Morning trip to Shimizu
Headed to Shimizu, which was just 12 mins train ride away. We went to the Eijiri pier for the water bus to Miho Peninsula. After that we made our way to the Miho Shrine and Miho-no Matsubara pine tree grove. On a clear day, Mount Fuji would be visible from the beach. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day.
