134)Nagashino/Shitaragahara Battlefield (Aichi, Japan)
It is located in Shinjo City, Aichi Prefecture.
In 1575, Takeda Katsuyori fought here against the Oda Nobunaga/Tokugawa Ieyasu alliance.
At that time, the Takeda army’s cavalry was said to be the strongest in Japan.
In response, the Oda-Tokugawa coalition used 3,000 matchlock guns and horse stockades to inflict a devastating blow on the Takeda army.
This battle was the trigger for the transition from traditional cavalry warfare to group tactics centered on gun squads.
This battle is called the Battle of Nagashino, or the Battle of Nagashino and Shitaragahara.
This battle was fought over Nagashino Castle, but the decisive battle took place at Shitaragahara.
It is said that the casualties of Takeda’s army exceeded 10,000 people, and the Takeda clan fell seven years later.
This is a video of a 49-year-old bachelor who silently visited the castle by himself.
I am posting a visit record of historical remains such as castle ruins that I visited as I thought, based on the belief that I do not flock and do not flirt.
