⁴ᴷ Kagoshima: Kagoshima Chuo Station (鹿児島県: 鹿児島中央駅) – Japan Walking Tour (February, 2025)
Since it’s getting cold and I’m determined to cover filming locations in every prefecture, I’m heading to Kyushu—the only region remaining. I took a ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Koji Port in Kitakyushu, then toured Kyushu in a clockwise direction.
I’ve now reached Kagoshima City, the southernmost point of this trip. Every time I visit Kagoshima, I’m captivated by the beauty of Sakurajima—it’s absolutely mesmerizing. For the filming, I walked a short distance from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Tenmonkan and its surrounding areas. In Tenmonkan, I explored Culture Street, which is lined with many free information counters, as well as nearby streets with arcades. Even though it’s Tuesday, there are plenty of bar promoters—both guys and girls—standing around.
