Japan Winter 144 Hours | Ginzan Onsen | Zao Fox| Matsushima Bay | Tokyo and Sendai FOOD travel vlog
SHOUT OUT NETFLIX DAWG! Jk I wish BUT
In this vlog, I’m back in Japan, but this time, it’s all about the ultimate combo—food and snow! First stop: Gyukatsu Motomura in Akihabara, where I dive into one of Tokyo’s best-kept secrets—crispy, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu cutlets. Then, we’re off to Sendai for three nights of epic eats and winter adventures!
We’ll soak in the magical, snow-covered streets of Ginzan Onsen, a place so beautiful it looks straight out of a Ghibli movie. Then, it’s off to Zao Fox Village, where I get up close with Japan’s cutest (and maybe sneakiest) fluffy residents. Of course, no trip to Sendai is complete without trying its legendary beef tongue, so I’m stopping by Gyutan Tsukasa to see if it really lives up to the hype.
To wrap things up, I head to Matsushima Bay, one of Japan’s most scenic coastal spots, to explore its fresh seafood market, visit the historic Zuiganji Temple, and take in the views from Furuushima Island—all while feasting on some of the best oysters in the country. If you love food, adventure, and unforgettable scenery, this is a trip you don’t want to miss!
