Early Sakura Bloom in Atami, Shizuoka – A Walk Through a Seaside City • 4K

It was a relatively warm day, so I headed to the sea, specifically to Atami City in Shizuoka Prefecture. To my surprise, I found blooming sakura—not just a single tree, but an entire street lined with them.

I began my journey at Atami Station, walking through a roofed market street down to the sea. I strolled along the beach until I reached a mountain river promenade, surrounded by blooming sakura trees. As I was going uphill, I visited a small shrine. Continuing higher, I arrived at Kinomiya Shrine. Then I climbed down along a river towards ropeway station to Atami castle. I wanted to get there when it gets darker to catch light up. Unfortunately, when I got there at 17:15 I found that closing time 17:30 is for down way, up way closed at 17:00.
I returned to the sakura promenade, now illuminated in the dark. Going further, I ended my walk on the beach. Unlike the last time, it was too cloudy for the shimmering moon light.
