Daimaru Fukuoka Japan Tenjin Christmas Market Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel 20th Anniversary of Rilakkuma
Daimaru is a chain department store located at 1 Chome-4-1 Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, totaling 12 locations in Japan.
Daimaru Fukuoka is one of the Fukuoka department stores at Tenjin area, 5 minutes-walk from Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel, Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal, Nishitetsu train station, and Subway station.
Daimaru Tenjin has a main building connects to east Hall building by open space passage or indoor passage. There are always exhibits and activities held at Daimaru department store. I visit the 20th Anniversary of Rilakkuma Exhibit at Main building 8F and dolls exhibit for celebrating the birth of girl at Main Building 7F.
I have lunch at Sumiyakigyutan Higashiyama Hakatadaimaruten at East Buliding 6F, a famous Sendai Wagyu Beef Restaurant. I order Sendai Beef Tongue Set Meal: ¥1,998 and Sendai Beef Steak Set Meal: ¥3,998, and they are very delicious. The Sales Tax at Fukuoka Japan is 10%.
At night time, I visit the Tenjin Christmas Market, located at the Fukuoka City Hall West Side Fureai Plaza. The venue is located just four minutes on foot from Daimaru Department Store.
