We may have stumbled upon the best pizza in Japan, by accident…
Walking around the sleepy side streets in Nara, we came across a J-Truck that had been parked up on the sidewalk, tucked away in a little garden.
The truck has been converted into a pizza oven, serving locals Neapolitan style pizza with local Japanese ingredients.
Sourced from the Nara region, we started with a salad with roasted japanese eggplant, pear, tomato, onions, spring greens, mint and basil.
We got the classic margarita with garlic and chili oil as well as a seasonal roasted corn pizza with strips of pork and perfectly burnt crust.
Keep your eyes peeled folks so you don’t miss it!

Yoooo that looks bomb
Every italian watching this will be sad.. that is american style pizza, not even real pizza.. way to much cheese, way to much toppings, floppy bc too much dough and the choice of toppings is just.. well.. about as italian as a newyorker.. just fat on fat on fat on way too much dough.. 🤮🤮
