🍵 Book this unique tea ceremony experience in Tokyo ➡️ https://bit.ly/3PaH7te

Ueno may be best known for being home to Japan’s oldest zoo, the Ameyoko shopping street, and one of Tokyo’s most popular hanami spots: Ueno Park. But did you know that, beyond the bustling streets and lively crowds, this area has a serene and quiet side?

Step inside a 280-year-old teahouse in Ueno’s National Museum, where time seems to have stopped and traditional Japanese culture awaits. Join byFood host Stephanie as she explores a historic shrine, gets dressed in a silk kimono, enjoys a gourmet kaiseki lunch, and participates in a traditional tea ceremony. Beyond tourist attractions, there’s much more to Ueno than first meets the eye, with a whole world of culture and tranquillity to discover.

The best part? You can book this traditional Ueno tea ceremony and dining experience for your next Tokyo trip!

  1. A very nice experience, ….I do so enjoy food in Japan. You looked absolutely wonderful in the kimono Stephanie.

  2. It was a pleasure to see you again. Kimono suits you well 😉 I am always enthusiastic about how easy, funny and relaxed the content. Thanks!

  3. Welcome back, Stephanie!!

The tour is great. I definitely would be spending quite a time in the museum. The classic teahouse seems like it would be great to visit in the winter. I hope they have the Crab on the menu, though. That one is the highlight for me :> :>

    P.S: Stef becomes Stephanie-hime in this episode 😀 😀

  4. I made the mistake of reading the notice in the National Museum saying that photography of some exhibits is prohibited, then taking a pic of the first one I came across without noticing the no photography sign on it 🙁 Facepalm

  5. Thank you for another great video Stephanie! You look so beautiful in your kimono. You should wear one every episode. The tea ceremony looked so amazing! Can men participate? Thanks again for all you wonderful people do with Japan by Food. I look forward to the next vlog! Have a beautiful day!!
