2025-01 Wakayama 2 Days
Onigajo again, on the way to Katsuura. Went on the local boat cruise, on the “kujila” (whale) boat, after a nice rice bowl with fresh sashimi, at the souvenir shop. Then we went shopping for bait and after night fishing, we went to an old quaint onsen (hot spring). Went to the fish market in the morning. So many tuna on the floor! After breakfast we tried fishing again at the same place as the previous night. Saw butterfly fish, moorish idols, and puffer fish with my camera monitor. Caught two rock fish. Almost lost my camera! Then we went to the Whale Museum and saw a whale show. After checking out the museum and small aquarium, we had lunch…Garlic shrimp and curry.
