  2. Just a wee note: Pasmo passport (the cute sanrio ic card) has been discontinued last August 😢

  3. In Sweden public restrooms sometimes does not have soap because alcoholics/homeless people drink it >< that's the reason in Sweden at least. Thanks for the video!

  4. Another great video, Erika! You really helped me last year on my first trip to Japan. Going to Hokkaido this year cuz hubby wants to see the snow monkeys!!!

  5. Keep your IC card, they last 10 years from last top up. I have been using the same one for my last 4 trips. (This is not the welcome suica or passmo passports, which is temporary cards)

  6. No clue why folks wanna visit Japan?! Without trash can, no soap in the bathroom, folks with tattoos not allowed in and expecting to go naked in onsen! Wtf Japan! Visit some place else like Taiwan!

  7. I've also held three IC cards for years. The Suica that I picked up back in 2016 or 2018 in Tokyo, a Kitaca because I try to visit Sapporo every year that I'm in Japan, and a limited-edition Nimoca I got that's Evo Japan 2019 branded, from back when that tournament was held in Fukuoka for one time.

  8. Hiii your videos have been such a helpful tool for my trip to Japan next month!!

Thank you for telling us about the 7Bank ATMs! I was really worried about bringing a large amount of Japanese Yen in my luggage flying there 🥲

Question: can you use your regular debit card at 7Bank? I have a Chase card and wondering if I can just use that to take out Yen (from USD)

  9. Always love your videos! I watched a lot of your videos to prepare for our Japan trip last year, and we loved it so much that we are planning to go again this year. I will definitely be watching this video again to make sure we have everything planned before our trip. Thanks again!

  10. this might sound like a really stupid question to ask but i would like to know if i do an E-Visa will i still get my passport stamped for entry? from what i’ve heard it’s all digital and i’ll admit i really want that stamp! i’m willing to fill out the form in person upon arrival if it gets me that stamp for entry ? great video btw i leave in about 2 months gotta start planning everything out !❤

  11. Hola, aloha, konnishiwa ❣️ I just 💗 your Japan videos! I think I’ve seen them all more than once 😂 We’re very excited about our trip in 21 days 🎉🙌🏽 Muchas GRACIAS from these 2 Boricuas 🌴 from Las Vegas 🤗

  12. Im going to japan in 3 hours!! Where were your videos this whole time??😂 This is one of the most detailed tips video ever!! Thanks!!

  13. One other point–buy a health insurance policy before you go. They are very cheap, even for a million-dollar policy.
Also… narrator….please slow down. This is like machine -gun chatter, and I had to pause it twice. Too much, unfortunately….

  14. I love your video. Super clear and informative; I’ve subscribed and followed you on IG. Thanks for making videos that will really help our trip to Japan. ❤

  15. This video is a must watch for anyone going to Japan! You you will always want to follow this channel, because one visit to Japan is not going to be enough !

  16. Hi Erica…Do you know anything about the medical insurance that is mentioned in the Visit Japan web page? They state that you that you should have medical insurance when you come to Japan, but if you don't,, "you can purchase it on arrival". However, they don't give any indication regarding how much it might cost, or whether or not it would cover pre-existing conditions, which is very important for a lot of people. Please advise……
