Day 3 – 2nd Day in Tokyo, Japan-Part 2 – Visiting the Hachiko Monument and Shibuya Scramble Crossing
Hello, Folks! This is still the second day of our stay in Tokyo, Japan! For Part 2, we feature our visit to the Hachiko Monument where a white Akita dog is forever memorialized through a bronze statue located near one of the gates of the Shibuya Metro Station where he waited for his beloved owner to come out for more than 9 years, never to see his owner again. Such display of loyalty is really worth a monument for him! We’re dog owners, too, and we know what happiness and joy a dog brings to the family-never mind the poop and pee smell that forever lingers in your home-being nose blind is not too bad either!
We also visited the most famous scramble crossing in the world – the Shibuya Crossing! We crossed more than two times during that day, and we literally felt “Shibuya Crossing Fatigue” because of it, but it’s worth it! Truly one of the bucket list items you can check off!
Watch out for Part 3 (the last one) of our 2nd day here soon!
Thanks for watching!
