How full was the flight in First Class? For flights that are not full, I sometimes ask the crew to prepare some of the uneaten dishes just so that I can see what they look like and maybe sample them as all. The uneaten food would be discarded and put into an incinerator at the destination country anyway. Having flown Middle Eastern airlines quite a number of times, I now know to avoid ordering the Arabic Mezze platters as they can make you really fully. These platters are meant to be eaten as an entire meal as I noticed that it was the only thing some of the other Arab passengers ate during the whole flight.
No flight can ever be worth $20,000. I’ve flown First Class and Business Class short haul and long haul on four different continents and have never paid more than $5,000, and I never would pay more than $5,000.
Qatar Q Suite is the best I have experienced.
That gamechanger suite is just incredible! That said, a shower before you land after a very long flight sounds wonderful. Game changer for flight less than 6 hours. A380 and shower room for longer flights. Thanks, Ms Cheng. Amazed yoou didn't need to be carried off the plane after that incredible meal!
