A Love Letter to “The Most Boring City in Japan”
In recent years, Nagoya has climbed the ladder of the most sought after and livable cities in all of Japan. Now with the addition of the incredible Ghibli Park, Nagoya has gained significant favorability in recent years.
Less than a decade ago, it was considered “the most boring city in Japan,” making it so tourists taking a trip to Japan would often skip over it in favor of cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Sapporo, Fukuoka, etc.
This video is here to explain why you would be missing out if you followed in those tourist’s footsteps.
I hope you enjoy the video! I put a lot of time and effort into this one, trying to exercise all the filmmaker muscles I once trained at UCLA TFT Film School. I wanted to try a more cinematic approach to this video.

The shots in this video are absolutely gorgeous! Both the photography and videography are stunning
Woah, it looks pretty good, I love the underdog vibe of the lesser trendy place! On a side note, since you practice, do you happen to know any good kyudo shops in the city? You made me want to visit there if I have the chance and I am in need to shop for a few things, possibly even a mitsugake glove!
Super Potato!! 🥔 It feels so long ago 😭
Excellent editing quality, my dude 🤌
