Korankei – A scenic spot with seasonal beauty

Access to Korankei

Korankei is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, and is a convenient one-day trip from Nagoya.

By public transportation

From Nagoya Station on the Meitetsu Line, go to Higashi-Okazaki Station (about 30 minutes).
From Higashi Okazaki Station, board a bus bound for Asuke (Korankei) (Meitetsu Bus: approx. 70 min.)
From Toyota City Station

Take a bus bound for Asuke (Korankei) from Meitetsu Toyota-shi Station (about 45 minutes by Toyota Oiden Bus).

Temporary buses may be available from Meitetsu Higashi Okazaki Station and Toyota City Station during the fall foliage season (November).

By car
Approximately 1 hour from Nagoya (Tomei Expressway “Toyota IC” or “Tokai Kanjo Expressway Toyota Kanpachi IC” via Route 153)
Approximately 50 minutes from Okazaki
From the direction of Nagoya or Nagano, it is convenient to use the Tomei Expressway or Chuo Highway.
*Because the surrounding roads are congested during the fall foliage season, it is recommended to leave early in the morning. Temporary parking lots will be set up, but it is best to use public transportation to make your visit as smooth as possible.
