Tokyo’s Newest Seafood Destination: Toyosu Senkaku Banrai
Toyosu Senkaku Banrai is a new seafood shopping mall adjacent to the Toyosu Market. It aims to recreate the atmosphere of old Edo (Tokyo) with its architecture and the focus on traditional Japanese cuisine. In this open-air mall you’ll find a wide variety of restaurants offering fresh seafood and other Japanese delicacies, as well as shops selling local products. There’s also the Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club a 24-hour hot spring bath facility where visitors can relax and rejuvenate with a free footbath on the rooftop.

I like the concept of more catered for Non-Japanese speaking customers. Foods are great but the prices are phenomenally expensive! (We have made nickname for these Donburi rice bowl "Inboun' Don" (Donburi for only Inbound tourists) Do not splurge yen too much here the same quality and dishes are available in Tsukiji Outer market.. Also the actual fish wholesale market building there are handful of not pricy restaurants. The good side to this Senkyaku Banrai is the view from footbath on roof floor with no extra cost! Btw, welcome to Kotoh-ku it's my hometown!
Everything looks so clean and organized.š
Nice. One place I never got to.
Chris, it's not $120. It's $115.30. You can count on me to fulfill your prophecies.š
When were you there?
This place looks like a foodie heaven to me because I love Japanese foods! š
Just go to Tokyo Station å «é擲 underground food streets instead. You don't need to pay the tourist's price for delicious food. LOL! šš Only seafood? You really missed out on real Japanese cuisine.š
This place is such an overpriced tourist trap… I'd rather go to sushi ro tbh
I appreciate the video as Iām headed to Tokyo next week! We were thinking of checking out the onsen
When was this film
Ripped off tourist trap. I went there .
@yellowproductions Great video as always! I added this market to my next Japan travel itinerary.
Just one quick note: PLEASE STOP pointing at things (objects, food, prices, etc.) with your index finger when in Japan!! Japanese culture considers this insulting as it is a sign of belittlement. Instead point to things using your ENTIRE HAND, with all fingers extended and your palm facing up. To help you visualize it, imagine that you are holding some coins and were about to hand them over to someone with an open hand. Or imagine holding the bottom center of a big pizza box.
Sorry Chris, its frowned upon to eat while walking in Japan
Hi Chris. Awesome tour of Toyosu. Definitely on my list to check out. I live how it's made to look like Old Edo and not with concrete buildings. I would have a great time exploring and enjoying all the fabulous food option to choose from. Probably need more than a day to really enjoy myself. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Hi Chris, is it getting dark so early? Is it a good time to go now or not so much? Does it drizzle a lot?
Just go for footbath. Food is way overpriced there.
This market looks really cool! I love that they have all kinds of different seafood here. It's great that there is a foot bath nearby too!
