A short look at one of Japan’s trendiest shopping places, Canal City in Fukuoka City. This time at night, with a look at its dancing water fountain and Ramen Stadium, serving dishes from across Japan. Canal City has over 350 shops, restaurants and theaters, and was completed in 1996. The 234,460 ㎡ (2.5-million sq. ft.) complex cost about $1.4 billion to build.

Canal City is also next to the Washington Hotel, and on the top floor is the Ramen Stadium, a collection of restaurants serving various ramen dishes from across Japan.
