Wakaba Ramen in the Tsukiji Market 🍜 #ramen

The Outer Tsukiji Market has a lot of tourist traps nowadays but along the main road store fronts is where you’ll find the OG’s and some top tier food that won’t break the bank.

  1. I’m assuming Usagi is on your list. If not, do it. It’s my number 1. Get the regular tantan mein. The Sichuan version is the extra spicy.

My insider scoop recommendation is Yokaromon
γ¨γ‚“γ“γ€γƒ©γƒΌγƒ‘γƒ³γ‚ˆγ‹γ‚γ†γ‚‚γ‚“ in Sumida. Popular local tonkotsu spot. Open very late and still busy in the am hours.

  2. My Dad always told me to "eat where the locals eat". I knew it was going to be good when you said tired fisherman went there.

  3. This ramen is marketed and priced to international tourists. Never try this place if you want a decent bowl of ramen noodle.
