This video shows you around the area while stopping by “Takasago Sake Brewery,” one of Asahikawa’s popular breweries.
Takasago Sake Brewery is located not too far from the center of Asahikawa, with nearby attractions such as the Asahikawa Science Museum.
After visiting the sake brewery, I passed along snowy streets such as Shinseibashi Street and Minami 6-Jo Street, then made my way through Asahikawa Science Museum and the adjacent walking paths.

Not much snow this year in lovely Asahikawa. When I visited the brewery in early January 2023 there was much more snow. Local brands of sake Kokushimuso and Otokoyama are highly recommended with their best sakes using local rice.
